Hope Home Orphanage
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27
The plight of orphans and children with special needs in orphanage homes in India is desperate. A lack of resources means that these little ones are left with what few crumbs may fall from the table. Many languish in substandard orphanages and institutions, while others are allowed to die.
But there is hope: the Church of Jesus Christ.
Hope Home exists to bring glory to Jesus by caring for orphans and children with special needs in India. We are currently taking care of 15 children in our Orphanage Home. Our ministry is mainly based on Faith, not by sight. We are providing a quality education for our children, and we are preaching the Word of God to them, and growing them in the Word.
All of our children are bright-eyed and hopeful, and are very happy living as one family because we are one family in Christ. They are studying diligently, and happy to help one another in our Hope Home.
Current Needs
FOOD: Currently there is a severe shortage of food here at Hope Home, and throughout India overall. Supply chain problems have arisen due to Covid-19. Some nights we must give the children water and send them to bed instead of a good, hot meal and it breaks our hearts. The cost to feed the children here is approximately US$600 per month.
ORPHANAGE STAFF: The cost of 2 staff members to care for the children is $200 per month. Any amount, even $10/month, in a recurring donation would greatly help the children.
